Danny Lozada
Daniel Lozada Guzmán was born in Havana
on April 27, 1973. He began his musical career in 1991 with
a group called Salsa de Esquina, but didn’t gain public
recognition until he took the stage as a member of the band
Conexión Salsera, where he both sang and composed.
En 1996 he joined David Calzado’s Charanga
Habanera. Under his guidance, Lozada manager to develop
and grow not just as a singer but also as a composer.
In January 1998, Loazada left the group to begin his solo
career, leading his group Dany Lozada y La Timba Cubana. With
them he edited "Tanto le pedí" in 1999, and
is preparing the release of his next record.
