Isidro Infante
Talented Puerto Rican Isidro Infante was influenced
as a child by hearing his father play the violin, and thus
got involved in music at the age of 14 when he participated
in a band that played songs by Santana and Chicago. Two years
later, Infante was in charge of background music for the Myrta
Silva show.
After taking private piano lessons, Isidro Infante studied
at the local Music Conservatory, graduating in composition
and arrangements at Temple University of Philadelphia in the
late 70’s. Isidro Infante has had the opportunity of
working with important musicians in the Latin music scene,
such as Tito Puente,
Celia Cruz and Johnny
Pacheco, and in 1994 formed a group known as Isidro Infante
y La Élite, shortly after being hired by RMM Records.
