Louie Ramírez
Born in New York in 1938, Louis Ramírez
began studying music in his teens. His professional debut
came about in 1956 when he joined Joe Loco’s orchestra
as a replacement on the vibraphone. He made his first recording
with this orchestra in 1957.
In 1963 he began his fruitful solo career with "Introducing
Louie Ramírez" by RMO Records. Since then he has
not stopped recording and playing for the most diverse of
audiences.
