Cesar "Pupy" Pedroso
He was one of the key figures not only of
the timba, but also of
popular Cuban music during the last 30 years. Besides being
one of the best and most prolific composers in Cuba, he also
revolutionized the way of playing the salsa piano.
He began his career as a musical professional as part of the
Orquesta Revé, and was one of the founders of Los
Van Van. In 2001 he began his solo career, with the band
"Pupy y Los Que Son Son", with which he has recorded
two records up until now.
