Ekon
Metallic bell with no clapper and equipped with a handle. It is played with a piece of wood. There is a double kina, called jimagua. Ekón is used in abakuá. musical rituals. The congas groups also use it at carnivals, where its role is that of a classic bell, with no sacred meaning.

Ekue
One of the abakuá’s sacred drums, reserved especially for secret ceremonies.
