Quijada
Instrument similar to the güiro,
formed by the lower jawbone of a horse or donkey.
The percussionist rubs the teeth with a stick.
Quinto
Drum of African origin, with a smaller surface
than the conga.
It makes a high pitched sound, which makes it
one of the most favored percussion instruments
when it comes to improvising. It also goes by
the name requinto.
